Jeremy Clarkson said one of his pigs died during the current UK heat wave.
the old Top of the line The presenter broke the news on Twitter after previously brushing off concern over rising temperatures across the country.
Clarkson tweeted: “Thankfully global warming is now over but tragically his brief visit cost my fat pig the life. RIP pig.”

Clarkson currently lives in Oxford where yesterday temperatures reached over 38 degrees, the hottest on record in the county.
Clarkson said in his column for The Sunday Times that owning pigs made him think twice about eating pork products because of their similarities to humans.
The big tour The host has previously been criticized for his take on the heatwave which pushed temperatures in the UK to 40 degrees for the first time.
The broadcaster and journalist tweeted: “It’s very hot in the south of France but as far as I know there is no deadly DefCon 8 level 3 heat wave warning in place.”
The tweet was criticized for being factually incorrect as the French government had several weather warnings in place and around 16,000 people had been evacuated due to wildfires in the south of the country.
He later responded to the backlash by saying, “I spent my life working in extreme heat and we survived drinking a beer under a tree. Climate change is real. Drink more beer.
He also said: “Really hot in France tonight. But I had a beer and everything is fine.”
Many people on social media responded to Clarkson’s posts with photos of the wildfires across France.
Parts of London were also on fire yesterday (July 19) as the city struggled to cope with scorching temperatures.
