Six-time Canadian Olympic medalist Andre De Grasse has retired from the men’s 200 meters at the World Championships in Athletics in Eugene, Oregon. De Grasse, who is the reigning Olympic 200m champion, tested positive for COVID-19 for a second less than three weeks ago. He suffered from several symptoms, including shortness of breath.
