Cindy Crawford is vacationing in style.

On Monday, the 56-year-old model went to instagram share a video of her driving a boat on a serene lake with her 6.6 million followers. In the clipthe mother-of-two donned a navy swimsuit with crochet sleeves and a black baseball cap while her half-wet tresses fell just above her shoulders.

“Yes, yes, my friend!” his pictureless sailing buddy said as Crawford smiled and waved at the camera.

“Return to this lake life”, the model subtitle the post office.

Although Crawford did not reveal his location, his family owns a cabin in Muskoka, Ontario. and often vacations in the Canadian destination for much of the summer.

Fans were quick to comment on the brunette bombshell’s summer video and wish him a peaceful holiday.

“Captain Crawford! Love to see you happy and free on the lake. Are you at your Canadian cabin?” asked a follower.

“Wishing you and your family a great time and I love your outfit! I wish I had a boat like that!” said another one.

“Yes, yes, Captain Cindy! I have to say, life on the lake suits you well. Seriously, girl. It’s beautiful.” wrote someone else.

“Life at the lake is the best of lives. Retirement goals! Queen of the lake! » added another fan.

Located two hours north of Toronto, Muskoka can be as exclusive or gorgeous as the Hamptons and is frequented by many celebrities including Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn, Steven Spielberg, Shania Twain and, of course, the Crawfords.

Although Cindy usually calls Malibu, Calif. her home, in recent years the model and her family have become as much a part of Canada’s cottage country as they are flashy speedboats, Muskoka chairs and elongated docks.

In an interview with vogue, Crawford spoke about his retirement off the radar. She and her husband, Rande Gerber, built their luxurious cottage in Ontario in 2008. For about a month each summer, Crawford proudly wears no makeup, makes no plans, and takes “grandma swims” (as she calls) with his friends and neighbors at the lake. .

“You are the real you here,” Crawford said when asked why she liked the Muskokas. “You never have your game face, your party face. When you’re dragged behind a boat on an inner tube, it’s hard to have a big front.”
