Canadian Mattea Roach extended her winning streak over Peril! at 17 games on Wednesday.
Roach has now earned a total of US$396,182.
She got the first question of the game, ran the table on a series of botany-related questions, and bet big on a Daily Double in the second round that won her $8,000.
But she missed a question – as did her opponents – about Canadian musician Neil Young.
At the start of the episode, host Ken Jennings noted that the iconic game show had only seen seven 16-game winning streaks before Roach’s ongoing run.
