Watch: Ronan Keating stalls when asked if his daughter Missy will appear on Love Island
Ronan Keating looked uncomfortable Hello Brittany as he was being interrogated to find out if his daughter was going The Island of Love.
There have been rumors that the singer’s 21-year-old daughter Missy is being lined up for the next series of the ITV dating show.
And presenter Ben Shephard couldn’t resist asking Keating about it when he appeared on GMB.
“Very excited, as you know I’m a viewer, to hear the rumor that Missy, your daughter, might be making her way to the island of love,” he said.
Looking a little shy, the Boyzone star replied, “I haven’t heard anything but you never know, those kids are busy.
“All my kids, they’re all busy doing different things. I myself haven’t heard anything yet.”
Keating, 45, began to squirm when Shephard’s co-host Kate Garraway intervened to ask him how he would feel if Missy entered the villa.
“How would you feel?” asked the presenter.
“Because I’m sure you love the island of love but I wonder if it’s different if you’re a dad looking at a daughter on it.”
Looking a little taken aback, he answered: “Uh… pass!”
“Yeah, I don’t know how I feel about that one,” laughed Keating, adding that he didn’t think he could watch.
Missy is the star’s eldest daughter from his relationship with ex-wife Yvonne.
She has already tried her hand at reality TV as she was previously a candidate for Dancing with the stars Ireland and there has been speculation about his participation in the dating show.
She added fuel to the fire this week when she shared a selfie on instagram and asked fans, “Celebrating something today. Can you guess what?”
Keating also shares son Jack, 23, and daughter Ali, 16, with Yvonne.
