The senior members of the Royal family have stepped up their public appearances of late ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, and the latest occasion was a glamorous affair as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge walked the red carpet for the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick Thursday night.
Kate, 40, stunned in a monochrome off-the-shoulder dress as she waved to fans along the red carpet in Leicester Square.
Roland Mouret’s chic and classic black and white design highlighted the Duchess’ toned figure with its figure-hugging style and off-the-shoulder bardot neckline.
the Top Gun: Maverick the red carpet marks one of the few times the Duchess has shown her shoulders at an event, but the glamorous occasion certainly called for upping the ante, and Kate definitely delivered.

Prince William, 39, and the Duchess were among British celebrities who attended the event, organized by Paramount Pictures and The Film and TV Charity.
Famous British faces from Juno Temple and Denise Van Outen to Jenni Falconer and Carol Vorderman – who dressed the role in khaki aviator jumpsuits – took to the red carpet for the star-studded occasion.

The event is the 72nd Royal Film Performance presented by the charity – which supports those working behind the scenes in Britain’s film and TV industry – over its nearly 100-year history.
The royal couple were greeted by the Lord Lieutenant and the CEO of the Film and TV Charity before taking to the red carpet to be introduced to the cast of the film, including Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connolly and Miles Teller.

The Duke of Cambridge in particular will have a lot to say with actor Tom Cruise, who recently landed a USS Midway helicopter upon arriving at the world premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in San Diego, California.
Prince William trained for years as an RAF helicopter pilot at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and carried out more than 150 search and rescue operations during his tenure at RAF Valley in Anglesey .

The Royal Family have attended the red carpets of film premieres for years, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge having attended a number of James Bond films over the years.
William, Kate and Prince Harry all attended the inauguration of Spectrum in 2015, and the last Bond film was a family affair, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall all present for the no time to die first red carpet in 2021.
