BLYTH – Guests of the Blyth Inn restaurant and hotel will be pleased to learn that North Huron Council has approved a request to install a patio.
The proposed layout includes a patio terrace at the rear of the existing building to accommodate an outdoor dining area.
There were no concerns or complaints from anyone about the proposed patio or the reconfiguration of the existing parking lot.
The only question on the application was asked by the advisor. Chris Palmer, who asked if there would be any issues with the structure near the entrance.
County planner Hanna Homan said the structure will be a raised patio. There should be no interference or issues with parking, and no concerns were raised about this.
